Meet Your Groomer

Hi, I’m Allison! I’m the face behind the grooming table, and I’m so excited to share a little bit about me and how this journey began.

I’ve worked in veterinary medicine since 2017, starting my career right out of high school. I’ve spent the majority of that time at Pet Care Specialists, where I’ve been since the fall of 2017. Working in veterinary medicine has given me years of experience caring for animals, understanding their individual needs, and learning how important it is to make them feel safe and comfortable.

In March of 2026, I decided to take a leap and start grooming from my home. While I had gained some small grooming experience through my work at the vet clinic, I am primarily self-taught. I spent countless hours learning, practicing, watching, researching, and continuing to improve my skills. Grooming has become something I love to do.

I started grooming because I wanted to create something of my own while doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love seeing the transformation, but even more than that, I love getting to know each dog as an individual. Every pup has their own personality, quirks, comfort level, and needs, and I want every dog that comes through my door to feel like they’re being cared for by someone who truly understands them.

As my little side-business grew, so did my dreams for it. What began in my garage eventually grew into my own grooming space, where I can continue building something I’m incredibly proud of.

Outside of grooming and veterinary medicine, I’m a wife and a mom. My husband, Kobe, is often behind the scenes helping me make everything happen. Together we have 3 wonderful kiddos and a house full of our own pets, so animals have always been a huge part of our lives.

Life can be busy balancing family, veterinary medicine, and building a business from the ground up, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m incredibly grateful for every client who trusts me with their four-legged children and allows me to continue doing something I love.
